Can I apply without a California ID?

When are your doctors available?

Our doctors are available 24/7. You may schedule a time that works best for you, or connect with one of our doctors instantly. Our scheduling is flexible, so you may reschedule or cancel anytime.

Who qualifies for a Medical Marijuana evaluation?

Anyone over the age of 18 who believes that medical marijuana will help alleviate their symptoms or medical condition qualifies for a Medical Marijuana evaluation.

What is a doctor’s recommendation?

A recommendation is a necessary document to legally purchase cannabis in a state that allows for legal medical cannabis use. The recommendation is not a prescription, but a document that states that a specified person has a medical condition that adheres to qualifying conditions under the state of California under California Proposition 215.

Will I need to renew my medical marijuana doctor’s recommendation?

Yes. Doctor’s recommendations must be renewed annually. PriceLess Evaluations will notify you prior to the expiration of your card, with options to renew. You will need a follow up consultation with a PriceLess Evaluations doctor before a renewal can be issued.

Who is able to legally write a medical marijuana recommendation for me?

Any licensed California physician or Osteopath can recommend or approve your use of medical marijuana. However, not all doctors are informed about the medical use of cannabis. All of our physicians are licensed in the country and state providing telemedicine and have deep knowledge of medicinal marijuana and are comfortable with recommending it as a treatment.

What is the difference between a doctor’s recommendation and an ID card?

A DOCTORS RECOMMENDATION is a document that is issued by a doctor, if you qualify, for the legal use of medical marijuana. An ID CARD is a representation of the actual recommendation that is wallet sized, easy to carry and acceptable at most dispensaries. We suggest that you carry a hard copy of your recommendation upon your first visit to a new dispensary.

What am I able to do with a doctor’s recommendation?

With a doctor’s recommendation, you are legally able to purchase marijuana at a medical marijuana dispensary or order delivery service from a dispensary.

If I lose my Recommendation document, can I get a replacement?

Yes. You can request an up to date copy of your recommendation document at anytime.

What medical conditions qualify for medical marijuana treatment?

Specific health conditions mentioned in Proposition 215 that might be benefit from medical marijuana therapy are outlined in The Compassionate Use Act of 1996, California Health and Safety Code 11362.5.

Do I need a state-issued ID to legally possess marijuana?

No. It is legal in the state of California to possess medical marijuana without a state-issued ID card as long as a physician has recommended use based on a qualifying medical condition. You are not obligated to apply for a state issued ID card, or join a state registry.

Does Priceless Evaluation share my information with anyone?

We do not share any patient information with anyone. All of our records are kept 100% confidential and maintained by us in our encrypted, secure HIPAA certified system. Your health insurance company, employer, or any other entity does not have access to this information. Your information is completely private to you and the doctor you consult with.

How much can I possess or grow?

Currently Bill SB420 states that a standard patient can grow up to 6 mature cannabis plants or 12 immature marijuana clones. However, the California Supreme Court ruled that these numbers are arbitrary and a patient can grow an amount that meets their medical marijuana requirements but not more.  A “Grower Recommendation” is a common phrase used to describe a desire to grow more cannabis that is outlined in Senate Bill 420.

What is HIPAA Compliance?

This means we meet or exceed all federal requirements for protecting Patient Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

How much does an evaluation cost?

New Patients pay a one-time fee of $59, once approved. Returning patients pay a one-time fee of $49 for a renewal, once approved.

Does Priceless Evaluation accept insurance?

No, We do not accept any form of medical insurance.
